Alessio and Nicola Campa, heirs of an ancient family of Murano glass masters, opened in 2004 the design boutique hotel Ca’ Maria Adele, in one of the most photogenic corners of the city, behind Chiesa della Salute. The interiors of the hotel are curated by the designer duo who every season invites guest set-ups that enrich the rooms with ironic modern objects.

On the occasion of the first edition of Venice Design Biennial, they invited Seletti to decorate their lounge with an arrangement of their Monkey Lamps, designed by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba.

The Monkey Lamps had four variations in which the monkeys could hang from the ceiling, from the walls like an applique, and standing or sitting on surfaces. The tribe they formed turned the rooms of the hotel into a lush rainforest where walls became urban bushes and lamps posed as a playful combination of form and function.
